IT'S ORGASM DAY IN ESPERTANTINA, BRAZIL

I'm always surprised by how much more open certain Latin American societies can be compared to the U.S. Then again, among the developed nations, the U.S has the highest degree of religious fundamentalism.
Given these facts, we should be very shy, to say the least, about claiming to be the leader of the free and secular world. The case of Brazil makes the point all too clearly. Espertantina may be a small town, but as far as I can tell we are decades away from having any mayor, of ANY town in this country, recognize such a holiday as this.
