IT'S MARCH AND IT'S SNOWING
Yesterday, the weather was warm enough for me to walk out of the bus with my coat around my arm. Today, it was pretty cold. Worse still, it was one of those snowy, slushy, don't-even-think-about-wearing-sneakers kind of days. The weather has been as moody as I. I have recently discovered how eating too much sugar while under stress can drive your liver completely out of whack. The connection was impossible to miss: I ate six chocolate chip cookies and six minutes later I could think of nothing but murder. I ran up five flights of stairs, which burned much of the glucose that my liver was screaming about. I felt better after my heart stopped racing.
Can't someone else just write my papers, take my exams and make my grades for me? "No." I had to try.
Note:
I simply LOVE people who say: "It was so cold last night; how could we possibly be going through global warming?"
Just a thought,
ja
