HACKERS GALORE
Given the astounding number of websites that have been defaced and crippled since the war started, I think it's safe to assume that bbcnews.com has been hit with a DOS attack similar to the one that hit Al Jazeera. I tried to acccess BBC from several computers--with no luck. I e-mailed a friend of mine in California and told him about the problem, but he said he had no trouble getting through to the site. This could only mean one thing: BBC has many servers in this country. I suspect that access to bbcnews.com has been denied in at least 4 northeastern states.
Over 20,000 sites have been attacked by hackers since the war began. Pro- and anti-war hacktivists have engaged in the biggest cyberwar ever launched--the internet has become a major battlefield. This is unprecendented in HISTORY.
