NEW TOOTH; NEW GLASSES
Today, I went to the dentist to have a deep cavity filled. My mouth was open for two hours and out of it spread a rubber sheet, at the center of which was my tooth. Apparently, I am more sensitive than the average patient--so I was given a shot of anesthesia that I'll never forget. It has been about three hours since the procedure and my jaw hurts like hell when I open my mouth. The rest of my mouth is no longer numb, but my tooth feels hard as a rock. They may as well not have given me anesthesia during the procedure, as I am certain that Im now feeling the pain of every and all incisions made with that god forsaken driller. MY TOOTH HURTS.
After the dentist, I was due at the optical to pick up my new glasses. I thought it'd get my mind off of the pain to try on my new, stylish frames and to test my x-ray vision. My glasses look like a pair that John Lennon once wore (see image of the the day), so I was distracted--for a while. Unfortunately, it had been just over 23 minutes after I got the spectacles when I had to get something to eat. When I tryed to get my mouth around a roll my jaw hurt like hell. Good thing the food was warm and hearty--because it would never be worth my while to suffer such pain for anything less than GOOD FOOD.
